{Mom, Mother, Mommy}, we can't remember the exact moment
that we met you for the first time, but it must have been
wonderful to see the smile on your face and the love in your
eyes.
We especially love your {Mom's Eye Color} eyes, {Mom, Mother,
Mommy}. They look at us with kindness when you hug us, become
sad when we're ill, and are full of smiles when we tell you
that we love you.
{Mom, Mother, Mommy}, we love your kisses: the soft kiss
that wakes us in the morning, the warm kiss at bed-time, and
those extra large kisses that console us when we're sad.
We love your voice when you sing us sweet songs and tell
us exciting stories. {Mom, Mother, Mommy}, we love how you
hold us ever so tightly and reassure us when we are frightened.
You also prepare so many good things to eat. No one can
cook {Food Prepared} the way that you do!
In short, {Mom, Mother, Mommy}, we love everything about you.
When we walk together along the streets in {Hometown}, or
you take us places, we are so happy that you are our {Mom,
Mother, Mommy}. You are the greatest!
When you're with your friends or other family members, we
watch as you chat and laugh with them. We think you're the
best {Mom, Mother, Mommy} of all!
At times, you scold us and your face looks angry, but you
are only trying to teach us what is right and wrong. We wouldn't
change you for any other {Mom, Mother, Mommy} in the world!
We'd like to give you a beautiful and very special present;
we'd like to give you a little bit of the sun to brighten
up those days when you're sad.
{Mom, Mother, Mommy}, if we could ride on a star, we'd climb
up into the sky and grab a piece of the moon to make you a
dress of light. That way you'd become a princess, like the
one in our book of fairytales. Even if, to tell the truth,
you're already a princess to us!
We'd like to pick the sweetest smelling flower for you;
when you hold it, its perfume will always make you think of
us.
{Mom, Mother, Mommy}, we'd like to give you a special charm
to make you forever appear as loving and beautiful as we see
you.
We'd like to give you a magic wand that would do all the
daily chores for you. Then, you'd have more time to be with
us.
We'd like to give you an eraser to rub out the tiredness
and worries that we sometimes see reflected on your face.
Then, you could always be happy and smiling.
{Mom, Mother, Mommy}, We'd like to buy you the best treat
in the world. We'd like to let you know just how sweet we
think you are when you hug us, play with us, and read us stories.
We'd like to give you your every wish!
But the sun and the moon are too far away, and flowers wither
quickly. Magic wands only exist in fairytales, and we're afraid
that our erasers are only good for rubbing out scribbles.
Even so, we know that a kiss and a very big "We love
you, {Mom, Mother, Mommy}!" can make you smile with happiness.
We don't know what any other
{Mom, Mother, Mommy} is like,
but we know that you are
our {Mom, Mother, Mommy}.
